About us
Young Water Professionals (YWP) Sweden is the official Country Chapter of the International Water Association’s (IWA) YWP network.
We empower young professionals in the Swedish water sector by creating opportunities for:
- Professional development
- Knowledge sharing
- Networking at local, national, and international levels
- Bridging academia, industry, and utilities – and having fun along the way!
What We Do
Nationally, we:
- Promoting and collaborating with conferences held in Sweden
- Organiziang workshops, and webinars
- Represent YWPs in IWA Sweden and collaborate with other international YWP Chapters
Regionally, our groups in Uppsala-Stockholm, West Sweden, and South Sweden arrange:
- Field trips and site visits
- Study circles and writing sessions
- Local meetups, workshops, and social events
- Outreach to universities, companies, and utilities
The chapter is run by a Steering Committee together with Regional Representatives across Sweden. Each member brings a unique perspective from different parts of the water sector, and their profiles below are linked to their LinkedIn pages.
