Here you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions about who we are, what we do, and how you can get involved.

Who can join YWP Sweden?

Anyone working, studying, or interested in the water sector in Sweden who is under 35 years old or has less than 5 years of experience.

How much does it cost to join?

It’s free to become a member of YWP Sweden. If you want to be an IWA member, there is an annual membership fee but you don’t have to be an IWA member to be involved in YWP activities.

How do I become a member?

Welcome to YWP Sweden! You can register via our membership form to receive our coming events info. If you are interested in becoming the driving members (organizeing events), contact us via email: info@ywpsweden.se.

If you want to join a regional group activities, please contact their emails from the regional groups page.

What kind of activities do you organize?

We arrange workshops, site visits, webinars, and local meetups. Activities take place at both national and regional levels. You are welcome to suggest future wish!

Do I need to be a member of IWA to join YWP Sweden?

No, you don’t need an IWA membership to join YWP Sweden — but we encourage members to explore IWA’s international opportunities.

How can I get active in a regional group?

Reach out to your local group (Uppsala–Stockholm, West Sweden, or South Sweden) via their contact email — you’re welcome to join events or help organize activities.

Can I join if I don’t speak Swedish?

Yes! Many of our events are in English, and we welcome international students and professionals.
